Laid back dude, show casing his philosophy that life consists of Sound&Style.

She wants the (ph)D

Not with that technique: no gloves, safety glasses, fume hood; the volume in the erlenmeyer flask is not suitable for what the flask allows; and the fumes from the left vessel are dangerously close to her nasal orifice. The only D she is asking for is Disaster.

Easy now, Dr. Cooper.

Mindset of a Boss

You: Does and wears things to fit in, speaks about what everyone else speaks about, is generally mundane. Gets along well, but isn’t particularly liked. Life is FINE.

Me: Does what the fuck I feel like, keep my priorities straight, says what I mean and means what I’ve said. Style? All day. Hated by some, loved by more. Life is RAD AS FUCK.

suckmywurst:

in this episode, misty points out how disgusting she thinks bugs are and ash accepts that she dislikes bugs, but points out that he hates how she’s making caterpie upset by putting caterpie down for something caterpie can’t help being. it really upsets caterpie that caterpie can’t be something she would like, because caterpie just wants to get along with misty, but caterpie can’t change who they are.

really, if we all watched pokémon, we’d be better people because it explains that it’s okay to hate something, you just don’t need to broadcast the fact and make others upset or uncomfortable

life lessons from pokémon

Roller-coaster Called Luck

My luck has been on a steep decline the past few days.

3/13 to 3/16;

I am no longer with the girl I had been seeing for the past month.
Cluster lights went out on the touring.
Water pump went out on the touring.
Grenaded my left shoulder; tore my labrum when my pull up bar failed.
Spent about $300 for the water pump, and put a new alt belt on there too.

I have a court date on the 18th @6pm, and two quizzes at my college (an hour away). Gonna have to drive home in rush hour.
Can’t afford to make a drift event any time soon. $ dried up with the touring and the fine I’m going to receive for my speeding ticket will probably have me eating PB&J for a while.
Can’t finish the interior of my s13 because I only have one good arm.
Won’t be able to go out drifting with an immobilized shoulder.
I need to have surgery eventually.

Aaaaaaaaand thats it, for now. I hope.

Amazing how fast things can turn in a matter of three days. At least my grades are good? LOL

Update 3/17:
My haircut was a botched attempt to get my long hair cleaned up, leaving me with a half buzz cut half douche hawk.

Turnaround on 3/17:
H&M spring wind breaker for $11
Uni Qlo(Japanese designed and made) Regular fit Jeans for $9.99. One day Promo.
Many compliments on douchey hair cut.
Had some free beer
Turnaround 3/18:
The town justice deemed my speeding violation an aberration due to my spotless driving record. Normally, this district would not reduce such a high speed. The state trooper also cut me slack when writing his report in stating that his radar was faulty(not true).

Fined 235 including the surcharge. Unsure and unaware of any points on my license. If the Justice and the prosecuting attorney did not explicitly state whether or not I have points, I will be optimistic and assume that he let me off with an expensive warning.

There goes my first few events, but hey; All for a reason.

Save Danny George

wearystar:

Last season Formula D awarded Danny George “The Spirit of Drift Award” recognizing his love of his fans and drifting community as a whole.
Now Danny George is turning to us, his fans, whom he loves so much. This year he didn’t get enough sponsors to make the season and is asking for help from all of us. He has set up a system of donations and rewards that feature everything from sticker packs to t-shirts to a raffle for an amazing grand prize. He has even set up the ultimate reward for a drift fan- he will put donors faces on his car’s new livery.

So let’s all pull together and help this awesome guy make his wildest dreams come true. Donate anything you can at Save Danny George

This is a community, and I was also in the same situation this off-season. With help from my friends, spare and reconditioned junk parts, a blown up engine that I had to rebuild myself, a rolling tetanus shot of a chassis, fab work, blood sweat, tears and determination, I myself will be able to run a few events this season.

My friends and the community have come in for me more times than I could ever count, and I am forever indebted to you all. So this is my chance to keep the love moving, and to help someone who deserves it.
If you’ve ever had someone come help you in a time of need, and you did nothing to deserve it, now is a good chance to keep the cycle going.

Bless up, and Good Luck Danny!

Finally almost done in the engine bay! Without the help of my friends, the shop space, and good work ethic I would have been kissing this season good bye.
Gotta mount the rad, coolant overflow, secure the fuse boxes, tidy up the wiring, and make a BMC heat shield. And that will take care of my engine bay. Bunch of little shit to finish still. Hopefully I’ll make it to Etown’s opener on March 30th.
Don’t manipulate people to attain a desired result. Just do what you can because it is the right thing to do. Don’t be a jerk to people; being kind and true to yourself and others pays off. I’m very thankful beyond words, and I couldn’t ask for better people. I won’t ever be able to put a cash value on all my friends have done for me; the best I can do is keep the good vibes rollin. Forever indebted to my homies. -Galen
